Chef Christian deLutis (& yes, we are pink in honor of BREAST CANCER and all CANCER SURVIVORS!) helped garner his team to a  most rare 4-star review by Baltimore Sun Food critic Elizabeth Large. Christian has taken over the kitchen in spectacular form. We loved a recent visit beginning with a fabulous pinot noir paired with a bison burger and bistro fries and scallop appetizer. Also be sure to try the calamari with a sweet and spicy glaze, yum! Great job to all on the team, especially Alethea (from Dogwood), new GM Aleta, Daniel and Steve and Mark! MD SCIENCE CENTER goes our favorite direction-a wine-o with the return of the Science Uncorked series on October 22, 2009 with a tribute to Leonardo's homeland and an introduction to the wines of Italy. . Science Uncorked—the Genius of Wine draws its inspiration from the Maryland Science Center’s latest exhibition as it examines the wines from the homeland of Leonardo da Vinci on Thursday, October 22 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm.  The Wine Market will offer an in-depth look at the wines of Italy. Da Vinci – The Genius at the Maryland Science Center features more than 65 of Da Vinci’s inventions crafted from his personal codices (notebooks). Among the creations on display are visions for the glider, parachute, and precursors to modern helicopters, automobiles, and submarines. Many of the inventions have been crafted by using techniques and materials of 15th century Italy, with some built to scale.
