Bmore Forward, a group of Baltimore’s retail, hospitality and tourism leaders, celebrates and gives back to those who have served by sponsoring a special Veteran’s Day dinner feeding 1,000 Baltimore veterans.
Fourteen area hotels, restaurants and attractions partnered with the group to host, donate and serve the dinners at their venues on Nov. 11. Baltimore is home to over 35,000 veterans, including homeless vets who make up 40% of the city’s homeless population. CITYPEEK, c/o it's founder, Patti Neumann is so proud to participate as a volunteer November 11, in the B’More Moving Forward event to feed homeless veterans of the USA.
“We’re very excited for the event and just as pleased with the number of businesses that have agreed to help us,” said Judi DiGioia, coordinator of the effort. “The dinner is just a small way for us to show our appreciation and gratitude to those who’ve protected and served our country.”
