Loveski, is a “jew-ish” deli born out of Napa Valley, in Northern California by acclaimed Chef Christopher and Martina Kostow just announced they opened their doors in Marin Country Mart in Marin, California. The Loveski team has been baking overtime to bring Marin Country Mart best bagels, ultimate spreads and signature sandwiches! You can now relish in a whole new shopping experience - with their larder section filled with goodies made in-house and from their favorite purveyors.
Thirsty? Loveski's new drink menu offers everything from fresh OJ to bottles and by the glass options wines. And, for all the coffee connoisseurs, Loveski Marin has your mug covered with a wide range of specialty and classic brews from locally sourced, Stumptown Coffee. Featuring handmade sourdough bagels, house-made pickles and other ferments, vegetables from their farm, and the best cured and smoked meats, the Kostow's blend elements of Martina’s Thai upbringing, and the sensibilities of our time and place, the result is at once irreverent, artisanal, personal, while remaining grounded in the dearly held traditions of appetizing stores and delicatessens.
Chef Kostow’s family name pre-Ellis Island was Koslovski. With this concept, Christopher and Martina have brought back this lost part of the name and, with it, some of the culinary traditions associated with the Jewish diaspora, now in two locations.

Chef Kostow's is one busy guy. He also owns The Charter Oak, a restaurant in the heart of the Napa Valley. Chef Christopher Kostow made a name at the Michelin three-starred The Restaurant at Meadowood. The Charter Oak is centered on a celebratory, family-style dining experience, with simple, approachable, and seasonal food – grilled meats, beautiful vegetables from our 3.5-acre farm, local wines, and unparalleled cocktails.
The Kostow's also own a reimagined Italian restaurant in Yountville, CA. Ciccio offers a California-Italian inspired menu with wood burning pizzas, fresh pastas, and salads featuring elements from the Kostow's culinary farm. Ciccio was opened in 2012 by Frank & Karen Altamura, and the family remains the owners today. Reopening Ciccio as managing partners, Christopher & Martina Kostow act as caretakers- with Team Kostow overseeing all culinary, operations, and marketing of the restaurant. This is one busy restaurateur team! Did I mention they are parents to two young children?
Congratulations to all involved!
