Masa 14, the lively Latin-Asian inspired neighborhood restaurant located at 1825 14th Street, NW, is excited to host a Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, October 27th from 10 PM to 3 AM. Judged by the bartending staff, guests are encouraged to dress in their most creative and frightening outfits for a night of dancing and live music, with a DJ spinning music throughout the two story restaurant. The winner of the contest will receive a prize of a complimentary bottomless brunch for four people at Masa 14, to redeem in 2012.
Throughout the weekend preceding Halloween, Friday, October 26 - Sunday, October 28th, and on Halloween night, Wednesday, October 31st, Masa 14 is offering ghoulish specials, such as the Devil Dog, a bacon-wrapped, Kobe beef dog with chili potato straws and queso fundido; Butternut Squash Soup with siracha crème, cojita and scallions topped with a blood sausage crumble and a Zombitini cocktail of RumChata, vanilla vodka, cream and cinnamon. Priced at $5 each, these three hair-raising items are available throughout the entire restaurant from 5 PM-Midnight.
