Dear CITYPEEK:

CITYPEEK learns of a "Barackwurst"

Chef RICKY MOORE Executive Chef of GLASSHALFULL restaurant & wine bar &  wine shop sent CITYPEEK his"Barackwurst" a hybrid of the Chicago Dog and the DC Halfsmoke. The dish is a celebration of President Obama time spent in Chicago and the time he will be spending in DC.  In addition it speaks of his upbring in Hawaii.  The hot dog was garnished with chili (no beans), house made pickles, slice of preserved plum tomato and celery salt along with: Smoked and grilled "Barackwurst", lilikoi mustard, spicy pineapple relish with Chicago and DC style garnishe. Yum.
