RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION OF Maryland Awards-Online Voting Now Open Dining Public Encouraged to Cast Votes  for Favorite Local Restaurant, Chef, Bar or Tavern,  Wine & Beverage Program, “Green” Restaurant and More!

The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced today that the “Unleashed” Restaurants promo listing will go live on Wednesday, February 24 at 12:00 noon at www.ramw.org.  There are over 90 listings representing over 100 restaurants offering specials for the Unleashed week, March 1 through 7.

Baltimore Magazine, in its March issue on newsstands February 26, has named nine Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM) members in the top 10 of its ‘50 Best Restaurants’ list.

Bobby Flay, of Mesa Grill in New York, has hosted shows on the Food Network and will star in a show on the Cooking Channel.

Scripps, the owner of the Food Network, plans to turn on the Cooking Channel on Memorial Day, May 31, this year, enhancing its position in the category of kitchen programming. Before meetings with advertisers, the company is announcing half a dozen series for the channel on Friday, including new ones starring Bobby Flay and Rachael Ray. It might as well be called Food Network, the Sequel.
